Songs and rhymes, pitched and unpitched percussion instruments, circle dances and

the guidance of your OTM teacher inspire confidence in musical expression.

About

Ages: 0-5 years old, siblings welcome

These classes are relaxed 30-minute sessions designed to allow 0 to 5 year-olds to experience music-making with the people who love them.

As a mixed-age class, siblings are encouraged to join in the fun!

What if my child is asleep?

Nap times change as little ones grow, and we know it’s hard to make it sometimes. That’s why the class happens twice - just in case your child is sleeping.

You are welcome to move flexibly between these two sessions:

• SESSION 1: Monday during school terms 11:15 - 11:45am

• SESSION 2: Monday during school terms 3:00-3:30pm

Your teacher, Marlena

Music for under 5s is taught by co-director, Marlena Raymond.

Marlena has extensive early childhood music teaching and private instrumental teaching experience. Marlena studied classical flute at the Australian National Academy of Music and The Conservatorium, The University of Melbourne.

She holds a Level 1 certificate in the Orff Schulwerk method, a fulsome approach to music education that utilises speech, singing, percussion instruments, movement and dance.
